South Carolina Attempted Murder Suspect Arrested in Perry County

Perry Co., Mo. (KFMO) - A man wanted on multiple felony charges, including attempted murder, in South Carolina has been arrested in Perry County.

According to jail officials, Paxton Tyler Bullard was taken into custody in Perry County and is currently being held in the Perry County Jail on a 24-hour hold. Authorities say Bullard is wanted on a no-bond warrant issued in South Carolina and also faces pending charges in Perry County.

The warrant stems from an early morning shooting that occurred Thursday in Spartanburg County, South Carolina.

Bullard faces several charges in connection with the incident, including attempted murder, possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime, discharging a firearm into an occupied dwelling, and malicious injury to personal property.

Authorities reported that the victim was transported to a Spartanburg hospital and was treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

Law enforcement officials in South Carolina have confirmed that Bullard is now in custody in Perry County. Additional details regarding possible extradition proceedings have not yet been released.
