St. Francois Co., Mo. (KFMO) - The 27th Annual St. Francois County Health and Resource Expo will take place Saturday at the Mineral Area College MACTech Building, offering a wide range of activities, information, and services focused on community health and wellness.
Organizers say the event is designed for all ages, with opportunities for families to learn more about health resources available throughout the region. Jennifer Beard, a member of the St. Francois County Mental Health Board, says attendees can expect a variety of activities and helpful information.
The day begins at 7:30 a.m. with a one-mile awareness walk led by the Alzheimer's Association, aimed at raising awareness about Alzheimer’s disease.
Doors for the expo open at 8 a.m., followed by scheduled classes beginning at 8:30 a.m. Attendees will have access to health education sessions, community resources, and interactive opportunities throughout the morning.
The event will run until noon and is open to the public.
