St. Francois Co., Mo. (KFMO) - The St. Francois County Sheriff’s Department is expressing appreciation to the U.S. Deputy Sheriff’s Association for its continued support of the agency.
According to the department, the U.S. Deputy Sheriff’s Association has assisted in the past by providing equipment such as spike strips and contributing to the county’s K-9 program.
Last week, the association donated a Halligan tool to the sheriff’s department. Officials say the tool will help deputies make safe and efficient entries in a variety of situations, including medical emergencies and search warrant operations.
The sheriff’s department says donations and support from organizations like the U.S. Deputy Sheriff’s Association help strengthen its ability to serve and protect the community.
