St. Joe State Park Bicycle Trail and ORV Area to Close for Leadbelt Enduro Event

Park Hills, Mo. (KFMO) - Visitors planning to spend time outdoors this weekend at St. Joe State Park should be aware of temporary closures connected to the 45th Annual Leadbelt Enduro event.

Park officials announced that the entire paved bicycle trail at the park will be closed Saturday, May 16 and Sunday, May 17. The trail is scheduled to reopen Monday, May 18 at approximately 9 a.m.

In addition, the ORV Riding Area will close Sunday, May 17 from 7 a.m. until 2 p.m. as crews and event participants use portions of the park during the annual motorcycle enduro event.

The Leadbelt Enduro has become a longtime tradition in the Parkland area, drawing riders and spectators each year.

Officials encourage visitors to plan ahead and use caution around event areas during the temporary closures.
