St. Louis Co., Mo. (KFMO) - The St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office issued charges Wednesday, March 18, 2026, against 38-year-old Sam Thang of the 4600 block of Hamburg Avenue in St. Louis.
Thang has been charged with one count of statutory sodomy or attempted statutory sodomy involving deviate sexual intercourse with a person less than 14 years of age, along with two counts of third-degree child molestation involving a child less than 14 years old.
According to authorities, Thang is being held on a $250,000 cash-only bond with no 10 percent option.
Investigators say Thang is also being investigated for similar crimes in Jefferson County. Police believe there may be additional victims in the case.
