St. Francois Co. (KFMO) - A 55-year-old St. Louis woman was arrested Monday morning in St. Francois County on a state charge involving a registered sex offender being present within 500 feet of a park with a playground.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Heather N. Hefley, 55, of St. Louis, was arrested at approximately 11:47 a.m. Monday, July 20.
Hefley was arrested on a state charge of sex offender present within 500 feet of a park with a playground.
She was taken to the St. Francois County Jail following the arrest and has since been released.
Formal charges, court proceedings, and any additional case details were not immediately available.
