Ste. Genevieve Man Seriously Injured in Route N Crash

Ste. Genevieve Co., Mo. (KFMO) - A 56-year-old Ste. Genevieve man is suffering serious injuries after a single vehicle crash Tuesday afternoon on Route N, south of Route NN in Ste. Genevieve County.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash occurred around 2:29 p.m. when a 2004 Mack truck, driven by the man, was headed north on Route N. Authorities say the vehicle veered off the right side of the road, then came back onto the roadway before overturning onto the driver’s side. The driver, who was wearing a seatbelt at the time, sustained serious injuries and was flown by Air Evac to Mercy South Hospital for treatment.

The vehicle was towed from the scene.
