Ste. Genevieve, Mo. (KFMO) - An arrest has been made following an overdose death investigation in Ste. Genevieve.
According to the Ste. Genevieve Police Department, officers responded to a call for service related to an overdose during the morning hours of Friday, January 23, 2026. A male subject who was on scene at the time was taken in for questioning.
Following the interview, Dylan Derousse was taken into custody and transported to the Ste. Genevieve County Jail. Derousse is currently being held on a $100,000 cash-only bond. He has been charged with Second Degree Murder and Distribution of a Controlled Substance.
