Washington Co., Mo. (KFMO) - A Steelville man has been arrested and charged in connection with a stolen motor vehicle reported in Potosi.
According to the Potosi Police Department, officers took a report of a stolen motor vehicle from the Cheryl Drive area on November 3, 2025. Following a lengthy investigation, a suspect was identified.
Joseph Lewis of Steelville, was arrested and charged with Stealing, Motor Vehicle/Watercraft/Aircraft & Prior Stealing Offender, as well as Tampering With a Motor Vehicle in the First Degree.
Lewis is currently being held at the Washington County Jail on a $30,000 cash-only bond.
