Farmington, Mo. (KFMO) - The final touches are being made to the new Tractor Supply Store in Farmington ahead of its official opening at 8 a.m. Friday, April 3rd.
The new store marks a visible change for the local retail landscape and comes as activity is also expected to increase at the company’s former location in the Mineral Area Shopping Center.
Farmington City Administrator Greg Beavers says R.L. Jones, the developer of the shopping center, is expected to begin making changes to the old Tractor Supply site in the near future.
While there has been ongoing speculation in recent months about what retailer may take over the former space, no official announcement has been made. Beavers says the exact big box retailer has still not been confirmed publicly, despite the rumors.
