Bismarck, Mo. (KFMO) - Two Bismarck men are facing Class A felony child kidnapping charges after authorities safely recovered two victims during a joint investigation early Saturday morning.
According to the Bismarck Police Department, officers partnered with the Oregon County Sheriff's Office in response to a child kidnapping investigation at approximately 3 a.m. on July 18.
During the investigation, an officer responded to the 300 block of Merle Street in Bismarck, where two victims and two suspects were located. Authorities said one of the victims was an 11-year-old child.
Both victims were placed into protective custody and transported to a safe location, where they were reunited with their parents.
Police arrested 21-year-old Connor Coleman and 24-year-old Ethan Moore, both of Bismarck. The suspects were transported to the St. Francois County Jail and placed on a 24-hour hold while investigators sought formal charges.
A short time later, the Oregon County Court issued no-bond warrants charging both Coleman and Moore with Child Kidnapping, a Class A Felony.
