Two Injured in Crash on MO-30 in Jefferson County

Jefferson Co., Mo. (KFMO) - Two women are recovering from moderate injuries following a crash Tuesday afternoon on eastbound Missouri Route 30 at Northwest Boulevard in Jefferson County.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash occurred at approximately 2:25 p.m. when a 2003 Ford Escape, driven by a 35-year-old woman from Fenton, failed to stop in time for a 2017 Chevrolet Equinox that was yielding to traffic. The front right side of the Ford Escape struck the rear left of the Equinox, causing the Escape to overturn. Both drivers were wearing seat belts and sustained moderate injuries.

They were transported by ambulance to Mercy Hospital South for treatment. Both vehicles were towed from the scene due to extensive damage.
