Jefferson Co., Mo. (KFMO) - Two people were injured in a two-vehicle crash Thursday afternoon on Old Lemay Ferry Road in Jefferson County.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash happened around 2:25 p.m. on southbound Old Lemay Ferry Road, north of Seckman Road. Troopers say a 1998 Ford Mustang, driven by a 16-year-old male from Cedar Hill, failed to maintain its lane and crossed the double yellow center line. The Mustang struck the front left side of a southbound 2019 Chevrolet 1500 driven by a 35-year-old man from Imperial.
Both vehicles sustained total damage and were towed from the scene by Ives Towing. The juvenile driver suffered moderate injuries and was transported by the Rock Township Ambulance District to SSM Health Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital. The driver of the Chevrolet also sustained moderate injuries.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports both drivers were wearing safety devices at the time of the crash.
