Bonne Terre, Mo. (KFMO) - The Bonne Terre Police Department is investigating a stabbing that occurred on Saturday, January 10, 2026, at approximately 7 p.m., in the 400 block of Huff Court.
Bonne Terre police officers responded to a report of a stabbing and, upon arrival, located a female victim who had fled to a neighboring residence. Officers immediately rendered lifesaving measures. Police were advised that a male subject may have remained at the original location of the assault. A small child belonging to the female victim was present at the time of the incident but was not injured.
Officers then made contact at an adjacent residence, where they located a second victim suffering from apparent lacerations. Lifesaving measures were provided to both victims, who were later airlifted to a St. Louis–area hospital. Authorities report both individuals are listed in stable but critical condition.
Police say both victims are known to have resided at the location where the incident occurred. Investigators do not believe the incident was a home invasion, and no other parties are believed to be involved at this time.
