UTV Summit Run Planned at Shepherd Mountain in Arcadia Valley

Ironton, Mo. (KFMO) - A unique off-road experience is coming to the Arcadia Valley next week.

The Arcadia Valley Chamber of Commerce is hosting the Shepherd Mountain UTV Summit Run on March 21st at the Shepherd Mountain Bike Park in Ironton. The event will give participants a rare chance to drive UTVs to the summit of Shepherd Mountain along rugged, historic terrain.

Dan Stiles with the Arcadia Valley Chamber of Commerce says registration is required because space is extremely limited.

Two guided sessions will be offered, one at 10 a.m. and another at 1:30 p.m., with each session limited to just ten UTVs. Stiles says the event promises to be an exciting day for those who enjoy outdoor adventure.

Drivers will navigate steep climbs, loose rock, and historic mining-era areas while stopping at scenic overlooks along the way. The guided runs will last about one-and-a-half to two hours. The event will begin and end at Shepherd Mountain Bike Park in Ironton.
