Farmington, Mo. (KFMO) - The Farmington Police Department is welcoming a veteran law enforcement officer to its ranks.
Officer Bill Stegall has joined the department as a School Resource Officer. Stegall is a graduate of the Mineral Area Law Enforcement Academy and spent nearly three decades serving the community with the Bonne Terre Police Department.
Stegall retired from Bonne Terre Police after 29 years of service and now brings his extensive law enforcement experience to Farmington. In his new role as a School Resource Officer, he will work closely with students, school staff, and administrators to help maintain safety and build positive relationships within local schools.
Farmington Police officials say Stegall’s decades of dedication to public safety make him a valuable addition to the department.
