Washington Co., Mo. (KFMO) - The Washington County Sheriff’s Office is expressing deep appreciation after receiving a major safety donation from local supporters.
Dan Mense Bail Bonds, along with Amy Declue and Tim Hays, provided ballistic shields to every deputy in the department at no cost to taxpayers. Sheriff’s officials say the group met with the department last week to personally present the shields, which will offer critical protection during high-risk situations. The added equipment is expected to significantly enhance deputy safety while on duty. According to the Sheriff’s Office, the donation reflects the strong partnership between the agency and the community it serves.
The department says the support helps ensure deputies can return home safely to their families after each shift and strengthens the bond between law enforcement and Washington County residents.
