Farmington, Mo. (KFMO) - Residents in the areas of Yale Avenue and Parkside Place will experience a temporary water outage on Friday, January 9, 2026, from approximately 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The interruption is due to a scheduled water main replacement. Officials advise that once service is restored, customers may notice sputtering faucets or cloudy water. This is caused by air trapped in the water lines and typically clears within a few minutes of running the water.
Residents are encouraged to plan accordingly and use stored water as needed during the outage.
