Water Outage Scheduled Wednesday for Parts of Farmington

Farmington, Mo. (KFMO) - Residents living near the intersection of Haw Street and Aldergate Street in Farmington will experience a temporary water outage on Wednesday, January 7, 2026, as crews work to replace a water main.

The outage is expected to last from approximately 8 a.m. until 1 p.m. Workers from Girdner Contracting, along with the City of Farmington, will be in the area during that time completing the replacement. Once water service is restored, customers may notice sputtering faucets or cloudy water.

City officials say this is caused by air trapped in the lines and should clear up within a few minutes by allowing the water to run.
