Weather to Stay Cold, Snow Possible in Parkland Through Weekend

Park Hills, Mo. (KFMO) - Winter weather will continue to impact the Parkland area this week and into the weekend, with a mix of chilly temperatures and chances for snow.

After a brief mild stretch mid-week with highs climbing into the 40s, temperatures will fall sharply again later in the week. Thursday is expected to be in the low 40s before a reinforcing cold air mass pushes in.

By Friday, much colder, with highs only around the low 20s and an increasing chance of snow showers Friday night into Saturday. Snow accumulation of up to a few inches is possible Saturday, with continued cold through the weekend.

Sunday looks slightly more settled but still cold, with highs in the 20s. Wind chills throughout the period are expected to make it feel even colder, dipping down below 0, so residents should plan accordingly.

Travelers are encouraged to monitor conditions as temperatures drop and snow chances increase late in the week.
