Park Hills, Mo. (KFMO) - A Winter Storm Watch has been issued for Iron and Madison Counties from 12 a.m. Saturday through 6 a.m. Sunday as a developing storm system moves through the region.
Forecasters say the watch area could see snowfall totals ranging from three to six inches during that time. Farther north across the Parkland, lighter snowfall amounts are currently expected, with up to three inches possible across much of the area. However, meteorologists caution there remains a fair amount of uncertainty with this system, and totals could vary depending on how the storm ultimately tracks.
Officials stress that even small changes in the storm’s path could lead to higher or lower snowfall amounts, and residents are encouraged to monitor the forecast closely as the weekend approaches.
