Work Continues on Route 67 in St. Francois County; Drivers Should Expect Delays

St. Francois Co., Mo. (KFMO) - Drivers traveling through St. Francois County should plan for delays as roadway improvements continue along Route 67.

The Missouri Department of Transportation says both northbound and southbound lanes of Route 67 will be reduced to one lane in active work zones as contractor crews carry out pavement repairs and resurfacing.

The impacted stretch runs from the Jefferson County line to Route 221 near Farmington. Officials say lane reductions will only occur in areas where crews are actively working, but motorists should remain alert throughout the entire corridor.

Weather permitting, the project is expected to be completed by Sunday, November 1 at 7 p.m.

Work zones will be clearly marked with signage. Drivers are encouraged to slow down, remain attentive, and use extreme caution when traveling through the area to ensure the safety of both workers and fellow motorists.
