Multiple Injured in Major Crash on U.S. 67 in Madison County

Madison Co., Mo. (KFMO) - Emergency crews responded to a serious two vehicle crash on northbound U.S. Highway 67 near Madison County Road 218 around 2 p.m. Friday, prompting a mass casualty response.

The Fredericktown Fire Department was first on scene and reported heavy damage to both vehicles. Multiple people were injured, leading officials to classify the crash as a mass casualty incident.

Additional ambulances from the St. Francois County Ambulance District were requested to assist, and both Air Evac Lifeteam and ARCH Air Medical were called in to transport critically injured patients.
