Missouri Tigers Record Second Shutout in as Many Weeks

(Columbia, MO) The Missouri Tigers defense shuts down Buffalo offense in Saturday’s 38-0 victory. Quarterback Brady Cook rushed for two of the team’s five rushing touchdowns.

Cook was 28-of-36 on passes for 228 yards and threw an interception. Theo Wease Jr. caught 13 passes for 149 yards.

The Tigers’ defense has not allowed a point through two weeks of the season and has propelled MIZZOU to No. 6 in the nation. It’s the first time since 1966 the Tigers have earned shutouts in back-to-back weeks.

No. 6 Missouri will play No. 24 Boston College on Saturday.
