SEMO Gives UT Martin First Win in 34-10 Loss

Martin, Tn. (KFMO) - The Southeastern Missouri Redhawks were again overwhelmed Saturday, this time giving the Skyhawks of UT Martin their first win of the year, 34-10.

UT Martin (1-4, 1-0) took a 14-0 lead to begin the game, before the Redhawks (1-4, 0-1) scored their first touchdown late in the first. SEMO trailed 21-7 at the half, and were outscored 13-3 in the final two quarters to fall to another loss.

SEMO played three quarterbacks on Sunday. Johnny Weber led the trio with 9-18 for 87 yards. Brandon Epton Jr. rushed for 24 yards, and scored the Redhawks' only touchdown, a 4-yard run. 

The Redhawks return home next weekend, they will host Tennessee State.
