Park Hills, Mo. (KFMO) - There was a whole lot to enjoy in Park Hills on Friday, as the Central Rebels took care of Fredericktown 43-0 to improve to 3-0 for the season.
Scoring came early and often for the Rebels. After forcing a Fredericktown (0-3) turnover on downs on the games' opening drive, Central proceeded to march down the field, and got into the endzone after a 2-yard run by Brody Pigg. Two rushing touchdowns for Karras Foster would follow, and Pigg would add two more through the air to make it 36-0 at the half.
With a running clock going for much of the second half, the Rebels' scoring pace slowed down, but they did still add one more touchdown with the second teamers, Braden Patterson punching it in from 5 yards out to put the exclamation point on a 43-0 victory.
Central quarterback Brody Pigg went 15-17 through the air for 211 yards. Pigg was also Central's leading rusher. The Rebels host St. Dominic this week for their Homecoming game. Fredericktown will continue the search for their first win on the road at Valle Catholic.
