South Iron opened set 1 with a 7-2 run and continued the dominance to a 13-4 lead before Central rattled off the next 6 points to get within 3. The Lady Panthers wouldn’t let the Rebels that close in the set again taking the first game 25-17.

The Lady Panthers begin the second set with separation, again, 7-3. Central would later use a 6-1 run to get within a point of South Iron’s lead at 15-14. 5 points later, the Lady Rebels tied the second game at 17 all, however, the Lady Panthers went on a 4-0 spurt to regain the separation and held off a late Central push for a 25-22 second set win.

At that point the tide turned for the Central Lady Rebels. Out of the second set break, they began Set 3 with an 8-1 run. Set 3 started all Central, and ended all Central. At 17-14 later in the set, the Lady Rebels finished off the third game 8-1 keeping their hopes alive.
