Central Rebels FB Expect Defense Will Be Tough to Handle

(Park Hills, MO) The Central Rebels have aspirations of returning to the State Playoffs after back-to-back years atop the Class 3, District 1 Field. This year they are going for a three-peat, and the Rebels are doing it with a majority of the players who started last season. That includes Quarterback Casen Murphy, Jobe Bryant, Sammy Callaway, Jaxon Jones and more. In fact the core of this Central group has played a lot of football over the last two seasons. So has that changed preparations for the upcoming season? Central Head Coach Kory Schweiss, says they didn't do much team work during the summer.

Schweiss emphasizes how dangerous the defense can be this year.

With a battle tested group, and expectations high, are there any weaknesses for this group?

Schweiss adds the expectations really don't change from last season with a roster full of returning athletes.
