Park Hills, Mo. (KFMO) – Standout freshman Cam Lee has been drafted by the Baltimore Orioles in the 9th round (pick 274) of the Major League Baseball Draft on Monday.
Lee led the Mineral Area Cardinals with a .444 batting average, 13 home runs, 46 RBI and 32 stolen bases.
Individually, Lee was named to First Team All-Region, Region 16 Player of the Year, and became the fourth MAC baseball player in the last six years to be named NJCAA First Team All-American.
Lee helped the MAC Cards capture the first Region 16 title in program history.
