Potosi, Mo. (KFMO) - The Potosi School District announced Thursday that Mark Casey has been hired to return as head coach for the Trojans football program in 2025.
This is Casey's second stint as head coach at Potosi, where he first coached from 2008 to 2016. During that time, he accumulated a record of 54-43. Casey says he's excited to be back at Potosi as head coach:
Following the 2016 season, Casey left Potosi to serve as an assistant coach at Central High School under Kory Schweiss. He was a part of the staff for Central's state championship run in 2023. Casey says he's learned a lot during his time as an assistant to Schweiss.
Casey replaces outgoing head coach Dylan Wyrick. Wyrick was 19-32 over his 5 years with Potosi.
