(Ste. Genevieve, MO) The Ste. Genevieve Dragons graduated a quarterback in Aiden Boyer who started at that position for 3 years but they return 10 starters on the defensive side. Despite a new face running the offense on the field, Dragons Head Coach Jay Pope stresses the importance of having 10 defensive starters return.
On the QB Position, Pope says Luke Feranto has already won any battle for the starting job there may have been.
This is Pope’s 3rd year at the helm. He’s 15-7 in two seasons total. He says the goals this year are the same as they’ve been each of his two years.
