Valle Catholic Remains Undefeated with Comeback Win Over Central

Park Hills, Mo. (KFMO) – The Valle Catholic Warriors outscored the Central Rebels 21-0 in the second half and remain undefeated with the 40-20 win.

The Rebels’ ground game kept them in the game in the first half. Karras Foster’s only rushing touchdown was from 66 yards out, and August Black took one to the house from 65 yards out as the Rebels and Warriors went back and forth in the opening half.

The scoring began when Sam Kuehn hit Kaden Williams with a 37 yard passing touchdown. Kuehn then found the end zone early in the second quarter with a five yard rushing touchdown.

Central jumped to a lead late in the first half when Brody Pigg connected with Brody Cole from 15 yards out to secure a Central lead 20-19 at the half.

Following the break, it was all Valle Catholic.

Kuehn connected with Evan Fallert for 24 yard pitch and catch to retake the lead. The Warriors converted on a two-point conversion to re-establish a 27-20 lead.

Colby Basler recovered a Central fumble and the Valle offense picked up the hard working defense. Andrew Schilly padded the lead with a pair of rushing touchdowns in the fourth quarter; one from five yards out, the other from 32 yards out.

Valle Catholic (7-0) will host Bowling Green in week 8, Central (4-3) hosts Dexter.
