(Ste. Genevieve, MO) The Valle Catholic Warriors were one of the two powerhouse teams last season in the MAFC, finishing as the Class 3, District 1 runner-up to the Central Rebels. Luckily for Valle Catholic, they’ll drop to Class 2 this year and will only face Central once this season. Warriors head coach Judd Naeger says this year's senior class has a chip on their shoulder.
The Warriors eye a return to the State Playoffs for the first time since 2019 when they went all the way to a State Title. And this year, they return a quarterback, and a lot of important offensive positions. Naeger thinks the returning crew could be a strength this season.
When asked about the long term goal of the season, Coach Naeger says his team prefers not to look that far out to not lose focus.
