Binnington Ties Liut For Top Spot in Blues Wins List; Blues Beat Sharks 3-2 in Shootout

(St. Louis, MO) Jake Neighbours scored the only goal in a three round shootout as the St. Louis Blues beat the San Jose Sharks 3-2.

Nathan Walker scored 11 seconds into the game, and Jordan Kyrou scored in the second period. The Blues split the two game homestand.

Jordan Binnington made 24 saves and collected his 151st win of his NHL career, tying Mike Liut atop the Blues all-time wins list.

Alexander Wennberg tied the game midway through the first period, and forced overtime when he scored with nine seconds left in regulation.

St. Louis (9-11-1) travels east to play both the New York Islanders and Rangers, and New Jersey Devils on a three game road trip. The Blues and Islanders face off on Saturday on B104.3 with coverage beginning at 6:00pm.
