Blues Let Lead Slip Away, Luck to Get a Point

(Buffalo, NY) The St. Louis Blues earn a point after an overtime loss to the Buffalo Sabres, 4-3 on Thursday. It was the second game in a row where the Blues let a lead slip away in the third period and lose the game.

Brandon Saad scored twice for the Blues, who had to overcome a one-goal deficit when Pavel Buchnevich tied the game in the second period.

Jordan Binnington made 29 saves, and the Blues were outshot 33-27.

Rasmus Dahlin scored the game winning goal 1:33 into the extra frame.

St. Louis (7-9-1) plays at Boston on Saturday and Carolina on Sunday on B104.3.
