Blues Shutout for First Time of the Season

St. Louis, Mo. (KFMO) - The St. Louis Blues had a bad first period for the second straight game and were shutout for the first time all season as they lose to the Dallas Stars 2-0 on Saturday.

All the work the Blues did to get within a point of the final wild card spot has been washed out with the two-game losing streak. St. Louis (23-23-4) now sits five points behind the Calgary Flames for the final wild card spot.

Dallas’ Evgenii Dadonov contributed a goal and assist in the win for the Stars, and goaltender Casey DeSmith made 33 saves.

The Blues host Vancouver tonight at 6:30pm. Coverage starts at 6:00pm on B104.3.
