(St. Louis, MO) The St. Louis Blues get back in the win column with an overtime victory over the New York Islanders Thursday, 1-0.
Jake Neighbours scored his first of the season just over two minutes into the extra frame. Goaltender Joel Hofer became the first goalie in NHL history to record a shutout AND assist on the only goal of the game. Hofer stopped 34 shots faced in the win.
