Winnipeg, Mb. (KFMO) – The St. Louis Blues struggled in the third period as the Winnipeg Jets take a 2-0 series lead after a 2-1 victory in Game 2 of the first round.
Kyle Connor scored the eventual game winner 1:43 into the final period assisted by Cole Perfetti and Mark Scheifele. Scheifele scored his second of the series with just under four minutes left in the first period on a shot that ricocheted off of Jordan Binnington, then Jimmy Snuggerud and in the net.
Snuggerud answered with 0.8 seconds left in the first period to tie the Jets 1-1.
Jordan Binnington made 20 saves in the Game 2 loss.
