Cardinals Drop Second Straight to Pirates

​St. Louis, Mo. (KFMO) - The St. Louis Cardinals faced off with the Pittsburgh Pirates at Busch Stadium for the third time of the four-game series. Pittsburgh outlasted the Birds with a 2-1 win.

Sonny Gray pitched well but ultimately gets tagged with the loss. Gray says everything was rolling until the sixth inning when the Pirates scored two runs.

The St. Louis Cardinals faced off with the Pittsburgh Pirates at Busch Stadium for the third time of the four-game series. Pittsburgh outlasted the Birds with a 2-1 win.

Cardinal Manager Oliver Marmol says the Pirates pitchers are getting the better of his team by throwing the fastball.

The series wraps up today on B104.3. Pregame coverage begins at 12:20pm, first pitch at 1:15pm.
